With HCM Learning Cloud, Oracle has redesigned the learning system for the way people learn today. Learning cloud R13 provides todays digital workforce with digital learning options, and better access to content, by providing them an experience to develop the talent they need to succeed. Social: It enables employees to capture, share, and collaborate around best practices using rich media. Contextual: It allows organizations to provide real-time, in-line learning to their employees. Scalable and Secure: With Oracle Cloud, it has the technical infrastructure needed to support transcoding and bit-rate adaptive stream (like YouTube and Netflix)

  • Learners can find, use, publish, and collaborate using the social features of liking, recommending, or contributing to the conversation
  • Learners can use mobile devices to continue the learning offline, when the device comes online it syncs with the servers t update the progress

Learning Catalog

You create courses and schedule them as specific offerings on which learners can enroll. You can assemble courses into specializations, which are a set of courses designed to help learners achieve specific learning outcomes.  

Publishing and Viewing Videos

Publish to everyone or a selected audience

  • With the proper security access, users can upload a video utilizing the publish video link
  • SMEs can assemble content for various sources and group them together

 

Formal Learning Items

  • Courses – A course describes what a user will learn
  • Offerings – an occurrence of training (e.g. the course Health & Safety can have eLearning Offering and Instructor-led offering)
  • Activities – What you have to do to complete the offering (e.g. SCROM content to be viewed, classroom training to be attended)
  • You must complete any one offering to complete the course
